Waking up under the treetops and with the sound of whistling birds. There is no better way to start the day, right? From your bed you can see curious squirrels jumping from tree to tree. The forest house borders the forest and offers endless possibilities to explore the Veluwe. How about cycling or walking? For the sporty guests there are various MTB routes. Or explore the Veluwe with your own horse or during a carriage ride.

Holiday with your horse

The forest house has stables with paddock and is therefore very suitable for a holiday with your horse. The Hoge Veluwe is a true paradise for riders and drivers.

Enjoy the sauna or jacuzzi after a day in nature or indulge in culinary delights in one of the delicious restaurants that Apeldoorn and the surrounding area has to offer.

Bed & Breakfast

Forest Inn is a holiday home where you can stay on a Bed & Breakfast basis. The forest house, suitable for 4 people (2 extra people on request) is located next to the owners’ house and is cozy and luxuriously furnished. The house has a double bed and sofa bed, a living room with fireplace.

During your stay you can also enjoy the garden and private terrace with lots of privacy. There is a large outdoor tent with lounge seating where you can stay until late at night by a fire. On request we heat our jacuzzi and sauna. When it gets dark, you can see countless stars here.

The a la carte breakfast makes it complete. They serve it here in the cottage or outside when the weather is nice. Warm croissants, fresh rolls, various toppings, yoghurt with fresh fruit and an egg.

Jacqueline and Armand are your host and hostess. They have been living at this special location since 2021.

History

The house dates from the thirties and was part of the Koudhoorn estate at the time. At that time, the plot had an even larger surface. The first residents owned a chicken farm. The house had already functioned as a boarding house with various cottages in the forest. In the seventies, an artist lived there who had his studio there. A house with a broad history.

Transformation

They transformed the house and the surrounding buildings with love for the history and the environment into a true paradise. Forest Inn Meet & Sleep meets the most modern living requirements with all respect for peace, space and nature
